In your post on Corridor Resouces you mentioned a valuation of $1/MCF.
I am new at this and I know that these rules of thumb are very rough, but could you explain the difference?

ReplyDeleteThe rule of thumb of $1/MCF was what was being used when gas prices were higher so I'd agree it should be lower than that.
It basically comes down to how expensive it will be to extract the gas in place, the size of the reserves per section, the rate it comes out etc...
Best thing to do is find a sale of a neaby property at a similar state of development.
